Cosmetic Dentistry – If you are unhappy with your smile or simply would like to brighten it up – things can be done, for example: |

Resins – tooth colored fillings. If you have the old silver fillings or if the resins you have are stained, you can have these replaced with newer, stronger and more stain-resistant composite resin fillings. |

Crowns – Teeth that have root canals, are broken or have large fillings generally should be crowned / capped. This will add strength and support to teeth in a fragile state. |

A crown helps to prevent breaking a tooth and possibly, therefore, loosing it. |

Crowns can be done full porcelain or metal porcelain with a precious metal foundation for strength. |

Dental Implants – Missing teeth can also be replaced with dental implants. |

This process involves placing a titanium “screw” into the bone where the missing tooth was. After a 4 month healing period, an abutment is placed. |

Approximately a month following this procedure, a crown is permanently placed. |

This is non-removable and very stable. Placing an implant will also maintain the bone level in that area. |
